Wānaka Homeschoolers exists to support and connect home-educating families in Wānaka and the wider area.
This space helps families share ideas, organise activities, and build community together.

Sports at the Rec Centre
Sports at the Rec Centre
All school-aged children and younger siblings are welcome at the Wānaka Recreation Centre for sports and activities every Thursday morning during term time.
All ages: 10am-11am
10+ year olds: 11am-12pm
Cost: $2.50 per child (age 5+) | honesty bucket system.
After sports at the Rec Centre we have a few options for extra activities

11:30am-12:30pm (Mon, Wed, Thur)
$10 per person
Bring 'grip socks'
Please note sometimes these sessions may not be available to homeschoolers. Join the HS Trampoline Messenger group to get updates.
Dinosaur Playground
Dinosaur Playground
From 12:30pm bring your lunch along to the Dinosaur Playground on the Wānaka lakefront on fine days for a play and a social catch-up.
Sometimes we go to Bremner Bay instead. Come along to the Rec centre first and ask where people are going.
